In addition to project-specific engineering studies, Coastal Frontiers personnel conduct applied research in the fields of coastal processes, coastal engineering, and Arctic engineering. In keeping with our engineering heritage, the focus of these studies has been not only to characterize the relevant physical processes, but also to develop a practical understanding that can be used to enhance design practices.
